Kazakhstan plans to increase cargo capacity along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route \(TITR\) to 10 million tons — strengthening the Middle Corridor as a key bridge between China, Central Asia, and Europe.
Alongside cargo growth, the government emphasized the importance of strengthening port and terminal capacity: A container hub is being built in Aktau. In addition to this, new cargo terminal development underway in Port of Alat with international partners.
These projects will meaningfully expand multimodal capabilities across the region, creating faster, more reliable trade flows.
